Stck.me Interview Series with Paromita Bardoloi

Introducing the stck.me Interview Series, where, every week we speak to your favorite creators, and learn about their work and how they are using our platform to enhance their community.

On our seventh blog in this series, we speak to Paromita Bardoloi.

Paromita writes about things that matter: everyday life, realizations, and gender. She also runs two initiatives, “Letter From A Stranger, India,” where strangers write letters to each other, and “Let’s Huddle, India,” where she has conversations with her readers about what matters. Both these initiatives are free and open to all.

In this interview series, we speak to her about her creative interests, what does she majorly write, her favorite genre when it comes to reading, listening, and looking for content on social media, and her experience with the platform, stck.me, and much more.

What was your biggest expectation from stck.me when you created your account?

I wanted a space that is clean and easy to post my blogs. As a writer, I wanted to create my portfolio and also find a source to earn money. Stck.me offered it all.

How helpful was stck.me in catering to the expectation?

It has catered most of my expectations. The only thing I want it to have is a “schedule’ feature. Because I post once a week as of now, that too on Friday. Sometimes I miss as I am traveling or busy someplace. So a schedule feature would bring my experience near to perfect.

What do you majorly write about?

I write about mostly everything. Stories, society, thoughts, musing, poetry and all that in between.

Tell us about some of your successful stck.me blogs? How did your readers react to it?

One of my successful blogs was the one I wrote about  Poonam  Pandey and domestic abuse. As most of my readers are women, they reacted very strongly which led to a conversation about abuse and the layers to it.

With stck.me introducing new features with time, do you think that has contributed to the ease of creating content on the platform?

Absolutely yes, I am always amazed to see how you try to bring ease and benefits to the content creator.

Any suggestions you would like to give us as a team to focus more on?

Please get the schedule post feature. It will make my experience much easier and completely stress-free.

What is your favorite genre when it comes to reading, listening, or looking for content on social media?

Opinion pieces, humor, contemporary art, and literature.

So creators around the world, what are you waiting for? Start creating, and earning from your fans, followers, and friends - stck.me's got you covered. Join us and get featured as one of the top creators in the Stck.me Interview Series.
