Stck.me Interview Series with Project Bibliotherapy

Introducing the stck.me Interview Series, where, every week we speak to your favorite creators, and learn about their work and how they are using our platform to enhance their community.

On our tenth blog in this series, we speak to Nitin Goel.

Project Bibliotherapy is run by two readers, Nitin Goel and Nandini Swaminathan with one mission - to nudge folks to build a reading habit so that they can read more and read better. In a world where the content we consume can be anything created between the dawn of civilization and today, it can get overwhelming and time-consuming to choose your next great read.

To make it easier for you, Project Bibliotherapy curates, creates, and organizes the best reads for you so you can build a reading habit that lasts.

In this interview series, we speak to Nitin Goel, Founder of Project Bibliotherapy, about his creative interests, what he majorly writes, his favorite genre when it comes to reading, listening, and looking for content on social media, and his experience with the platform, stck.me, and much more.

What was your biggest expectation from stck.me when you created your account?

I stumbled upon ScrollStack (now stck.me) in June 2020 while on a quest to find an alternate home on the web for Project Bibliotherapy, apart from Instagram where I had been nudging folks to read more since March 2020.

Thanks to early access from the team, the Bibliotherapy archive is among the oldest on the platform and contains all my activities across the internet in one place for easier access.

How helpful was stck.me in catering to the expectation?

The fact that bibliotherapy.stck.me has been the Project’s homepage since July 2020 should suffice in answering this question.

Also, the feature to receive monetary contributions from readers anywhere in the world, through cards / UPI, within seconds, has been helpful in devising this bootstrapped startup’s future plans.

In order to get all the information on the future plans of Project Bibliotherapy along with details on monetization, refer to the following piece,

What do you majorly write about?

As two lifelong readers, all of our experiments have one common core mission - to nudge you towards developing a habit and love for reading more, both for knowledge and more importantly, pleasure.

The internet is the greatest library known to humankind. We help you navigate this infinite source of information to reach the gems on its back shelves - stuff we enjoy and feel deserves more attention.

With stck.me introducing new features with time, do you think that has contributed to the ease of creating content on the platform?

Creating and editing content from both laptop and mobile has always been creator-friendly since the early days. The addition of features such as PDF embeds, a dynamic landing page with social links, and ‘follow for email updates’ have been making life easier as a creator.

Any suggestions you would like to give us as a team to focus more on?

Leveraging the existing stck.me community through online and offline interactions would be useful for us to expand our reader base along with discovering new content worth our time.

Dedicated community managers from the stck team could be a step forward in this direction.

What is your favorite genre when it comes to reading, listening, or looking for content on social media?

It’s impossible to pick favourites, but a bit of wit and humour is always welcome in these trying times.

So creators around the world, what are you waiting for? Start creating, and earning from your fans, followers, and friends - stck.me's got you covered. Join us and get featured as one of the top creators in the Stck.me Interview Series.
