Stck.me Interview Series with Anuradha Sowmyanarayanan

Presenting the stck.me Interview Series, where, every week we speak to your favorite creators, and learn about their work and how they are using our platform to enhance their community.

On our sixteenth blog in this series, we speak to Anuradha Sowmyanarayanan.

Anuradha Sowmyanarayanan is a Tutor, Blogger, poet, Book reviewer, and passionate reader. Her interest in reading &writing paved way for this blog way back in 2016.

In this interview series, we speak to her about her creative interests, what she majorly writes, her favorite genre when it comes to reading, listening, and looking for content on social media, and her experience with the platform, stck.me, and much more.

What was your biggest expectation from stck.me when you created your account?

I’m a regular reader of scroll as well as stck.me and I’m highly fond of its reach. It was a long time wish to be a part of the stck.me with some exclusive writing.

On the 21st of March 2022, I finally decided and dared to create an account and present my writings. I wanted my writing to reach a good number of readers and expected to receive valuable feedback and comments.

How helpful was stck.me in catering to the expectation?

I’m just in a few months back and here is the list of interview series which is sure to fetch me some attention and reach. Thanks to the team at stck.me for such a gesture to encourage a newcomer. It is definitely a step ahead of my expectations.

What do you majorly write about?

I write about books, food, and languages like Hindi, English, Tamil, Sanskrit, and Telugu in my blog under different labels. I do book reviews & write poems too.

With regard to my posts in stck.me, as I said earlier I wanted my posts at stck.me to be exclusive to the site and not the same as my blog. So, I decided to share the recipes which were handed down to my mother by my great-grandmother and are a part of our family's daily diet. These can be easily followed by an amateur and are simple with the ingredients and style and no doubt cost-wise also.

Tell us about some of your successful stck.me blogs? How did your readers react to it?

As I’m just a few months into the stck.me, a few followers, and some likes to my posts are there right now. Still, I need to settle and update myself about the site fully and I’m hopeful that I will do it at the earliest.

With stck.me introducing new features with time, do you think that has contributed to the ease of creating content on the platform?

Obviously yes, I think the creators or bloggers find stck.me easy enough to navigate and its features are also friendly. Everyone wants to create and contribute their best content for which stck.me is surely encouraging with its new features and constant improvisations.

Any suggestions you would like to give us as a team to focus more on?

As a blogger, support and motivation for good reading and writing and a platform to showcase the creative skill is all the one expected as a whole which you people are already into. Hope it continues with the same enthusiasm.

What is your favorite genre when it comes to reading, listening, or looking for content on social media?

My favorite genre is non–fiction which includes food & travel, self–help, biographies &Auto – biographies. Under fiction–Romance only. Above all reading Literature is my all-time favorite.
